A LITTLE ABOUT ME
You may remember me as a QVC on-air spokesperson.
Now, I’m a speaker, writer, teacher, and coach with a mission to equip Christian women to be grounded in Jesus Christ while wrestling with the often-uncomfortable intersection of faith, organized religion, and the realities of this world.
For over 10 years as a spokesperson on QVC, I have inspired women to beauty and confidence in everyday life. Now, with a master’s degree in theology, I inspire women to navigate the contradictory and confusing voices in the Church today by equipping them to be grounded in their faith, even when the Church has let them down.
Today, I am on a mission to ignite one million women to unleash their power and confidence in Christ.
YOU SHOULD KNOW
Loss is so difficult. And you've suffered loss, too. Sometimes loss deconstructs much of what you believed about God. I get it. In May 2019, while in graduate school at Harvard University, my beloved older son, David (26 at the time), was diagnosed with colon cancer. Just two years later, on May 1, 2021, that precious son died. My mother heart was shredded.
I am learning that, yes, life comes to us in moments of glee and vitality, and it also comes to us in quiet solitude or piercing pain.

Nancy and Nancy Hicks Live
I spent more than a decade at QVC as an on-air spokesperson. I loved my time there but finally sensed God calling me to full-time ministry. So, after earning my master’s in theology from Palmer Seminary of Eastern University, I launched my international speaking ministry, Nancy Hicks Live. Today, I have the privilege of speaking and teaching all over the world, equipping and encouraging women to live fully alive in their faith.
ABOUT NANCY HICKS LIVE
NancyHicksLive is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We exist to help women live a fulfilling life by providing an arena where women can be encouraged yet vulnerable in the struggles of faith and daily life. We are learning more about you, our women, and developing tools that support you in this one brief life we are called to walk. Our goal is to empower women to be Candid. Confident. Courageous.
NHL is a team of women. We all bring different gifts and talents to this ministry, and our hope is to enable women to live confidently in all aspects of their lives.
Donate to our Ministry
All donations and revenue go directly back into the ministry to create resources and materials for our women. We have a team of dedicated volunteers who work hard to make sure our content is relevant and useful. We only have one staff member who receives minimal payment to help support her young family. We do pay contractors in graphic design and other necessary skills to help build our materials. Nancy does not take a salary.
